Christmas Moments

Things happened so fast on Christmas! Allie seems to open presents with lightning speed, so it was hard to capture the moments. I only had time for a few pictures with all the craziness. Allie's favorites were her American Girl Doll outfits and books, MP3 Player, Barbie styling head, art supplies and a new sled. Celia loved her puzzles, Clipo building blocks, Scooby Doo games and Twister. It was an emotional day - more pictures soon!

Twas the Night Before Christmas.....

.....and all through the house.....everybody was stirring at our house! The girls were anxious on X-mas eve and even slept in the same room together. Allie tried to listen for reindoor hooves on our roof, but fell asleep before she could.

Candy House

The girls made a Candy Gingerbread House on Saturday and no one ate any of the candy or treats! We got the kit from the Children's Museum and I'm glad we did it at home instead of at the museum. Allie did 2 sides and mom and Celia each did one side (notice mom's nice window and door). Now we just have to figure out where to put it!

Lipstick

Celia loves putting on lipstick. She's always grabbing my tubes and she won't give them back! In this picture she's using Allie's barbie lipstick, which is SUPPOSED to be very subtle.....but Celia figured out how to make the most of it :-)

Enormous Tree

Mark and Allie went to the Christmas Tree farm and picked out an enormous tree. It takes up half our living room, even after being cut down! Oh well, it looks nice up against the window and you can see it from the street. Allie decorated it while Celia took a nap (and saved some for Celia to put up.)

Star City Parade

After living in Lincoln for 10 years, we finally attended the Star City Parade. It was freezing cold (especially after being in Florida) but we braved the cold temperatures for most of the parade. Celia loved the Cookie Monster and Elmo floats :-)

Magic Kingdom

Disney was......crazy. Long lines, mobs of people, crowds, crowds, crowds. It was pretty much what I expected, except even busier. Can't say it was the greatest time, but the girls seemed to have fun - especially Allie, she's at the perfect age for Disney. Celia, on the other hand is a little young, but she took it all in.

Sea World

Sea World was probably the best time we had during our trip. No long lines, we got right into the shows, etc. The dolphin show and the Shamu show were the most fun. Also the Polar Express exhibit was pretty cool too.

Cocoa Beach

We went to Florida over Thanksgiving - our first destination - Cocoa Beach. It was a perfect day - 80 degrees and sunny. Allie loved the waves and Celia liked making sandcastles.
