Allie's 8th Birthday

Allie had her birthday party at a place where they did karaoke, and got their hair and nails done. Everybody's hair looked really good ! Can't believe she's already 8!

First Day of School

Allie started 3rd Grade this year and Celia started her 2nd year of pre-school. August seems so early (and hot!) for school to start, but everyone seemed excited :-)

Adventureland

Our annual trip to Adventureland was fun as always. This year the girls went on the big ferris wheel AND the water park too!

Reunion

20 years already??? It was fun seeing everyone at the Hopkins High School class of 90 reunion in August. So glad I went! Our casual night was at Lord Fletcher's and the more formal event was in Plymouth.

Last softball game....

Allie and I had our last softball game on July 28th. Allie had 3 big hits!!

Another day at the zoo......the girls really like the butterfly area where they can catch some on their fingers. One flew on Allie's head.

Celia's 4th Birthday

Celia had her first b-day party with friends. She had a great time hitting the pinata, eating the cake and opening presents!

Roddick

Andy Roddick made an apperance at the Special Olympics here in Lincoln so we went to watch him play.

Ferris Wheel

We went to Omaha to get a new tennis racquet and the Scheel's there has a huge ferris wheel! Celia and I had fun riding it while Allie watched from below.

3D

The kids saw Toy Story 3 in 3D. It was their 2nd 3D movie (first was Alice in Wonderland)

Anniversary

It was our 12th anniversary so we went to the Oven (never been before in 12 years in Lincoln!) and had some drinks. Allie took this picture for us :-)

Allie's Camp

Allie had a great time at camp this week with her friend Emily. She went swimming, fishing, did archery, go-karts, nature walks, cooked outdoors and even spent the night on the last night. On the overnight they had a bonfire, watched fireworks and slept in a tent!

Tie Dye Party

Allie's softball team had boring white uniforms, until we TIE-DYED them ! Now they look super cute and much cooler than the other teams :-)

Concert

Allie had her 2nd Grade Musical at the end of May.

Guitar

Allie saved up her money for a new guitar! Lessons will start soon......

Allie had her big dance recital on Mother's Day weekend. She did really well and had such a pretty dress!
